Bryan was born and raised in Saint Clair County; participating in many sports and other activities as a young man. He spent many long days working for his Grandfather at his residence known as "Black Acres" located on Strawberry Lane in Port Huron. He learned much from his Grandfather's wisdom and training. Bryan graduated Port Huron Central High School in 1978, Central Michigan University in 1982, Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing Michigan in 1986.
Bryan has had an active and dedicated practice of law under the tutelage of his Grandfather and Father from 1987 through the present. He celebrates his sixteenth year anniversary of practicing law on May 2nd, 2003. Bryan has successfully litigated cases from the trial level right to the Michigan Supreme Court. Bryan was appointed by the 31st Judicial Circuit Court to act as a Mediator in 1993 and has presided over hundreds of civil cases. Bryan also was appointed as a juvenile court guardian ad litem. Bryan was appointed by the State of Michigan to work as an investigator/arbitrator for the Attorney Grievance Commission.
Bryan has always been committed to giving back to his community and in particular has served on the board for the Christian radio station WNFA 88.3, Habitat for Humanity as board member and volunteer, Massive Impact Ministries through Life of Faith Church, and Youth for Christ. Bryan has acted as legal advisor to Blue Water Family Life and Port Huron Power Squadron. Bryan has also been a long time sustaining member of The Michigan Trial Lawyers Association. Bryan has volunteered a number of years for the March of Dimes Jail and Bail and has also been a Sunday School teacher for both the Ross Memorial Bible Church and Cornerstone Church. Bryan is also a member of the Michigan Supreme Court Historical Society and also the Christian Legal Society. Bryan is also a member of the Moose Lodge #158.
Bryan's spouse, Tina, is a registered Dental Hygienist, instructor at Baker College and is the President of Great Lakes Academy of Hair Design where she is licensed both as an instructor and Cosmetologist. Bryan has two children, Justin and Brianna.
Bryan enjoys spending time with his family, coaching hockey for his son Justin, helping his daughter in volunteering for AYSO soccer activities. Bryan also enjoys boating and golfing where he is a member at the Elks Country Club.
